OH NO! It’s time for another POETRY BOMB!!!

OH NO! It’s time for another POETRY BOMB!!! Today’s victim: Nix Nova!!!!! Watch out-if you’re my “FRIEND” on FB the next victim may be YOU–and just because I don’t know you that well doesn’t mean you’re OfF tHe HoOk, bwah hah hah hah

ODE TO NIX NOVA
On a good day, the gods forge wonders
Like ice cream, and Mozart, and pornography
Or singular blossoms-hand-picked from Gaia’s bosom
With sly grins and teasing intellects

And the day you meet Nix Nova
Is always a good one
So, consider yourself lucky
When the gods are in rare form

Because on the day I met Nix Nova
I felt a tremor-a thunder in my crotch and breast
That shook me until I was half-cock(ed)
Half-mad and wholly enchanted

If I were Zeus I would have become a very eager eagle
Cruising trouble and delight
Determined to purloin Ganymede without remorse
And fill his cup with wine and wisdom

But I am not a god
And Nix has a way of laughing
At my mortality
That puts me at ease

With a talent that defies limits
A wit and intellect that defies tedium
A love that defies the prosaic
And a smile that defies fatality
He lights up the vital fires
So that to know him is to perceive the stars

If Nix Nova did not exist
It would be necessary to invent him
