Don’t scare the nice people

By Seamus O'Sparks on August 2, 2017 — 1 min read

Hola, FB-long time no speak. Thanks for reading my poetic drivel (those of you that have). More than a couple of folks have expressed concern, directly to me, over the heavy vibe of my last couple of efforts. What can I say-it’s what came out of me. Alora…here’s a poem that should straighten everything out real smooth like 🙂 <3

Don’t scare the nice people with your morbid verse
Their nerves are on edge and you’re making it worse
There are traffic snarls, bills, and of course North Korea
It’s enough to give people acute diarrhea

Tell the nice people you’re really alright
Despite the dark hue on the words that you write
Of course the words come and they say what they say
All that I do is get out of their way

So, everyone, please forgive me my tinkers
Sometimes these words can be moribund stinkers
I assure you I’m fine, full of gusto and gas
Pretty soon sugarplums might fall out of my ass

I’ll save you some
