Gads…ye gads… Gethsemene… GOLGOTHA. What a night. Hell of a night. Front’s here…hello front. Hell of a front. And I’ve eaten lotsa’ hams all damn night long. Now everything smells like hams and fat and father christmas and failure. Even my cat has that doomed look on his prissy cat face. What a bummer man. All this drizzle and baked pig grease has made my cat suicidal. He says he’s heading out in hopes of crossing paths with the angel of death. Right now he’s yelling, “I’m ready for YOU you gutless bastard ball-less dog! I got the Judas jitters, now, and you got that sweet canine cure…ya’ dig dog? You ain’t nothin’ but a dog. A dog dog dog!” And, believe me, I’d try to talk some sense into this cat-tell him there ain’t no dogs dealing death in this neighborhood, in this weather, at this hour. But-well; he gets pretty rank when he’s been drinking. He’s a real crazy cat:a furry bundle of raw shrieking nerves.
“Meow” he says now… Hell of a cat.
