So, it’s almost election time, Ebola is in our lives, and-well-people are just running on raw nerves. Let’s not forget our humanity in all this. I’d like to say that I have friends of all different stripes. I have friends who are: Rabid Conservatives, conspiracy theorists, new agers, Christians, cynical atheists, pro-lifers, radical environmentalists, creationists, relentless Obama haters, unreliable pot heads, vicious alcoholics, Wal-Mart shoppers,fans of G.G. Allin and Daniel Johnston, homophobes, militant lesbians, sanctimonious middle-of-the-roaders…you name it. The point is; I don’t really like my friends.
