HOLY CROW-LONG GUSHING POST AHEAD: Chasca is included in the Austin Chronicle list of 10 FREAKS and GEEKS to REDEFINE Austin Music! What an HONOR! I’m especially thrilled about us being mentioned alongside Attic Ted and THE BEAUMONTS. That’s 3 San Marcos acts whose freaky geekness reeks all the way up in Austin. GO 78666… I think Chasca is definitely the geek factor here. Did you know that Morgoth was initially named Melkor? See what I mean. GEEKS! Take THAT James Franco. Tomorrow we take our geekiness to Lost Horse Saloon in Marfa. Saturday we get even geekier at The Deadhorse in San Angelo with Machine from Portland Oregon (Steve Prefontaine’s home state!). THANKS EVERYONE!!
