We’re getting close to the Halloween season and boy do I have a costume idea! From now until late October I am going to avoid vitamin C completely and severely limit my sun exposure in an effort to develop scurvy. Once I have the scurvy my costume possibilities are limitless. I’m going full commitment this year! Maybe I’ll be a 16th century pirate, maybe a 13th century Crusader? In any case, I will be a terrible sight! Oh-Chasca plays at Lost Horse Saloon in Marfa this Friday and The Deadhorse in San Angelo on Saturday. I won’t be scurvied by then, but the process will have begun so keep your distance…
