SPOILER ALERTS: OMG, Y’all-I just saw the new STAR WARS!!! It was SO AWESOME!!! An admirer of Chasca-this dude from LOS ANGELES- invited me to his sound proof suite for a private screening. I think it was the BEST one of the whole series. I LOVED the new bad guys, especially Dark Helmet. He was new and yet strangely familiar. Definitely my favorite villain in the series. I loved Lone Star. He was kind of like Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and the President from Independence Day. That’s to say, EVERY AWESOME ACTION HERO EVER. The film had everything and was a great improvement over the prequels and even the originals. I especially liked the way they had increased technology like ludicrous speed. It makes sense that advancements would be made in the 30 years between Jedi and the new film. Oh man, it was so awesome. I loved how the film makers experimented with “meta-fiction” in places. A bold move for the action/adventure genre. Definitely better than the others. Better acting by far and WAYYY better than Die Hard. Die Hard is like puke to me now. And I was like, “Did George Lucas REALLY give you this personal copy of the film?” And the guy was like, “Oh yeah, honest engine.” And I was like, “Wow, that’s neat.” But the evening ended on a weird note. That guy got drunk and then…he tried to pork me.
