My post yesterday was meant to be funny. But I see in it a cynicism and self-aggrandizement that is troubling. So, here’s something that should be a touchstone for all of us who are trying our best to be our best…across the board. In 1996, 18 year old Keisha Thomas threw herself on a man who was being attacked by an angry mob in Ann Arbor MI, presumably because he was racist (He was wearing a confederate flag T-Shirt and had SS Tattoos). She protected him from the mob’s assault. We live in an ugly world BUT beautiful people CAN populate it- So, perhaps if we could all be as cool as Keisha Thomas, we could build that New Jerusalem
