I can say, without hyperbole, that last night with Loris Lowe on KLBJ 93.7 was the most fun I have had in a long time! Thanks for listening, if you did, and thank you for calling in (whoever you are, you were perfect and you’re beautiful <3). Now then, we had a lot of fun and, possibly, took the concept of rock radio into an entirely new realm. Who knew that on local licks we would learn so much about The Late Bronze Age Collapse? Who knew you could rock AND discuss palatial economies, Minoans, and the “Sea-Peoples” simultaneously? Well, if you were listening in-you would know. Loris, you are amazing! Your unstinting support of local music is what holds our community together. AND-the way you rolled with our ridiculousness last night was beyond brilliant. Because of you, we created a broadcast that was approaching a beautifully absurd work of art! WOW! And the way you ended the show, recapping our conclusion that The Minotaur was in fact responsible for The Late Bronze Age Collapse: it was the smile on the Mona Lisa’s face. YOU ROCK LORIS <3 Thanks for having us and making it a great night! I want to record and release another record just so we can come back on your show! Melinda Rothouse Cory Mann Louis Doiron-you guys are incredible-WELL DONE!
