Hi…I guess everybody, on some level, works with the public

Hi…I guess everybody, on some level, works with the public. But some jobs mean that you really, “work with the public.” So, Easter reminds me of when I used to work at a costume shop. Of course folks would call and ask if we had Easter Bunny costumes. And, of course, we did. Now, a surprisingly large number of people would follow up their initial inquiry with the question, “Do they (the Easter Bunny costumes) look real?” And I, dimwit that I am, would furrow my brow and respond, “Umm, real.?. you bet they do!” I would usually end my shift with a sizable urine stain on the front of my pants. Of course I drank a lot in those days so it kinda’ came with the territory. Real, man, real-like; better put down the bottle and learn to speak Chinese ‘cos, damn.
