Here’s how to pronounce the name Chasca. It’s just like it sounds. Cha, as in Chop and Sca, as in Ski.The “a” is short like in Awe. Some want to latinize the first syllable and say,”Shasca.” Others are inclined to make the a flat like in Chad. One person insisted on pronouncing it Shasqua. It’s as easy as it looks-Chasca. We needed to straighten this out after our last east coast tour where they kept calling us Supertramp.
