Ode to Wednesday

By Seamus O'Sparks on April 6, 2011 — 1 min read

Unsung hours of Woden’s name
Colloquially of “Hump Day” fame
Your voice in dulcet tenor boasts
…That he who on his Facebook posts
A naughty little bit of verse
Shall feel the sting of Wednesday’s curse
He will not hump upon this day
Though other souls shall hump away
Wednesday- A happy hump you bring
But for this lame cur, the hand’s the thing
